SA Water - Adelaide Desalination Plant (2011 – 2013)

AMAR Group were Contracted by Abigroup Contractors Pty Ltd and McConnell Dowell Constructors (AUST) Pty Ltd to provide Electrical Commissioning Services.

AMAR Group responsibilities for this project include electrical supervision, technical support and liaison with ETSA utilities for the grid connection, validation testing and commissioning of the 11kV distribution network, electrical infrastructure and the plant & equipment.

The Adelaide Desalination Plant, located at Lonsdale, South Australia will provide the city of Adelaide with up to 100Gl of water per year, making it capable of providing up to 50% of Adelaide's domestic water supply.
